OUR STORY
From Crow Flies Cabin Care to Crow Flies Vermont
Crow Flies started with cleaning cabins. Founded by Lauren, a local business owner rooted in the West River Valley, the company earned its reputation one sparkling turnover at a time, and homeowners soon asked for more. Cleaning became cohosting, cohosting became full-service management, and Crow Flies Cabin Care became the trusted local partner behind some of Southern Vermont's most-loved stays.
Along the way, something else happened. Guests started coming back, not just to a particular house but to us: asking what else we looked after, where to eat, which swimming hole was worth the walk. The work had grown beyond caring for cabins.
So we've grown our name to match. Crow Flies Vermont represents both sides of what we do: caring for distinctive Vermont homes, and helping guests experience them.

Lauren is a Vermonter with more than fifteen years of hospitality experience, hosting guests since 2019. Her approach is simple: high standards, thoughtful staging, locally sourced welcome touches, and personal recommendations that help guests experience the real Southern Vermont.
We're not a call center or a national platform. When something needs attention at one of our homes, it's someone from our small local team who shows up.
