Some houses sit on land. This one comes with it. The chalet is set on thirty private acres in the Townshend hills, with about two miles of marked trails climbing past a tucked-away hunting cabin, a small cave, a waterfall and a handful of cold, clear streams.
Inside, the house is made for groups: an open kitchen and dining area where everyone ends up, plenty of beds, and a hot tub and sauna waiting when you come back in from the trail or the ski hill. Traveling with more people? A converted sugar shack with its own bathroom can be added for two more.
